Default ZC 1.6 liter OVERHEATING problem

I have a over heating problem with my zc dohc 1.6 liter, the arrow always goes up when im at a stop and go light but it cools down once im driving it.I changed the radiator today since it looked like it needed to be replaced and removed the thermastat.

I'm starting to think the fan doesnt kick on when needed to cause it does cool down once it kicks on.I dont think i have a blown head gasket either since i dont see any white smoke coming from the exhuast.anyone know how to make the fan direct so its always on when i turn on my car?

Did you replace the thermostat? Or just remove it?

Check to see if your fan is coming on, and that your coolant is topped up.
