Default How bad of an Idea is this- Ej1 Kybs

Ive got Kyb Agx's on my ej. AGX arent full coilovers, so its a shock/ spring sleeve combo. Question of the day- The back isnt low enough. Its just about tucked but not quite there. How bad of an idea is it to take out the sleeve/lock rings and rest the spring directly on the shock. If the shock didnt have the stupid bowl thing i could lower it more the right way, but unfortunatly it does. So would resting the spring on "the bowl" a terrible idea for an ideal slam? I circled the "bowl" looking thing that way you would know what the hell Im talking about

Keep the sleeves in there. Replace the rear springs with shorter ones.

The spring cup is meant for a tapered end spring, like OEM. Springs meant for an adjustable sleeve are flat ended.
