Default Would this be a viable anti-theft solution?

So we all know about kill switches and what not. But what if you were to put many switches on one circuit and only a certain sequence of those switches being in the 'up' or 'down' position would complete the circuit. The switches could even be in plain view on the dash board (kind of like the toggle switches for various systems in race cars).

Would this be a good solution?

^^^^ this guy fails,

If you want to prevent someone from taking your car you need to keep them in the car long enought to get caught, and to make the car nearly impossiable to shut up. 99% percent on the time they will move to the next easier target. What theif want to sit in front of your house with a alarm blaring that they can not shut up. None. Period!. If you are worried about towing go with a gps system. This way you are never out of range of the car. And if you do lose range it will show the last location till it comes back into range.

Gps is 98% recovery of your property.

my uncle has that on his jeep to start it.

taggart_lumpy--- there are many ways to stop a thief. as stated make it impossible to shut the car up,
or my favorite idea put my pit in the back seat lol

Although anything is better then nothing and any layer to a security system is good the problem with a switch, [switches] that can be seen is it makes it easy to bypass them. 94

if your not using your a/c button then you could use that as your kill switch. most people look for a switch rather then your stock buttons

not necessarily, its almost exactly like hooking up a switch except your hooking up a button. ground 1 wire the other you hook to the relay and there you go.
