Hondata announces the FlashPro
Hondata is pleased to announce a new tuning product - the FlashPro. Initially this will available for the Civic Si and Civic Type R.
The FlashPro allows you to custom tune your Civic Si for aftermarket performance products, including forced induction. Additionally you can datalog, graph & analyze your engine parameters.
Out of the box features which you will like is the ability to run any sized injector, switch to a speed/density (MAP) based calibration to bypass any air flow meter problems from forced induction and big cams, and use a VTEC window. There also are the usual table editing and parameters such are cam angle, ignition, fuel, closed loop etc.
The price is $795, including tuning/datalogging software, and the expected release date is in June. June this year, if you’re in doubt.
For more information see FlashPro
We will update the above page with answers to your questions as they come up.
Update: CT supercharger Stage 1 owners may choose to upgrade directly to the FlashPro. Contact CT Engineering about this.
Thank you for your patience – we’ve been looking forward to this moment for some time.

yea i definitely dont wanna get it when it releases, and i would like to see how the ap works out after its released. the one thing i like about the ap is u dont need a computer to change the maps. u can do it on the go.

man o man, guess they got wind of the AP and decieded that they better do something fast. Well im glad and its already been said but im going to wait to see how the kinks and bugs work out for the two of them and see which one seems to be more benficial to me.
Awesome, glad to see I can get this for my R. Just gotta see if I can find someone here who can tune it. Won't need it for a while anyways, not until I get cams at least, I'll pick it up at the same time.
Well ****! There goes my bonus check!

KPro is a completely different product. It was created for the 02-04 RSX style ECU. It will only work on that type of ECU with the exact same Oki processor. Honda has changed the architecture of the ECU, including ECU architecture, processor and encapsulation, so that there is no way the KPro can be made to work on any other ECU.
K-Pro requires the ECU be sent to a Hondata for the installation of the K-Pro daughterboard. By comparison, new FlashPro owners need never remove the ECU from their car.
Because FlashPro is a different product from KPro, it has different features. Not all features implemented in KPro are possible with FlashPro.

Oh good! Well hopefully they will have a map for 70mm exhaust, intake, header, and cams. It'll be a few months before I get all that anyways, so hopefully some good maps will come out for it.
I'm sold... it will be even more enticing if you only need to buy one and can use it on multiple cars. I assume that probably won't be the case though (license key tied to ECU serial number or something of the such).
Or I suppose they were trying to make as much money as they could off reflashes before they introduced this thing to sale.
Either way, its awesome news - now it will only be a matter of time before full race makes a side mount turbo kit ;-)

people should stop bitching about the prices. kpro is way more expensive. and they have reflashes for the rsx so its no different than the rsx. except we save money. if that makes sense. i dont think they are tryin to screw anybody. they dont offer a discount for kpro is u have a rsx reflash. so stop bitching. they didnt even have to offer one
the price is attaractive to me. i mean comapre to K-pro or a standalone. I will wait to see what happens with it and if it goes write ill have cams dual springs and retainers clutch and lw flywheel. might evnelook into the TB and RRC IM.

.............I got ur 2.6L stoker "kick". What!?!
