Default lowered car breaking axles?? input please

i just got my lube back from the tranny shop and the shop is concerned that my front end is to low and could possibly break an axle by to much stress or ruin the bearing in the tranny. i was thinking well if this was true why is every other honda slammed on to the ground? input please

They are right at the trans shop. Stock axles are very strong! Having a slammed car does NOTHING for proformance and will cause more harm then good. I have seen stock prelude break axels on street tires on the street and track with 14,15,16 second preludes. But I have also seen 12 to 10 second passes on stock axles with a full slick on a properly setup prelude.

Lowered and slammed are two different things. To answer your question if you see "every other slammed honda on the ground" doesn't make it right. Just like the old saying if everyone else was jumping off a bridge would you do it too?

They are probably just trying to pick on you for having a 'modded' car or trying to drum up business. If you car is slammed then you may be having problems, but moderately lowered cars have no axle problems. I have 1" of wheel gap on my 4th gen and have for many years with no problems.

I rarely ever see Hondas that are 'slammed to the ground', that is just the retards and noobs that think it looks cool and they don't usually last very long
