Im considering it if I can get the car tuned by then. Just wanted to see if anyone else was thinking about going.

 

All the local DSM and EVO guys here that usually go to the shootout have told me they are doing to Englishtown instead. I haven't looked to see if it is still the same weekend or not.

 

this isnt the DSM shootout. he is putting one on for all sport compacts. It is this month. NDRA at norwalk was always a pretty nice turn out so I figured Id ask if anyone is headed to this deal

 

I personally would never support Buschur Racing in anything they do.

according to their site : 17th ANNUAL DSM/EVO SHOOTOUT-15th and 16th of August, 2009... I plan to go to the Buschur Racing event at Norwalk

 

Hopefully it rains....or since we are talking about Ohio and the stupid weather, maybe it will snow. My car is not finished yet.

 

yeah my car is on the road but not retuned and the new retainers arent in the head so Im not real comfortable reving to 9500rpm right now. I think if I do go there might be a few more from around here that will also go

Just curious but why dont most people like bushcar? It is because of the whole selling out of the ealier DSM's?

 

Personal opinion,but i find that he uses people till he gets what he needs then throws them under the bus. Plus I find he just has a crappy attitude.

I also would never support anything put on by Buschur racing.

Ill be going as well. Went last year and it was a very well put together event with alot of different kind of cars, hell there was even a turbo escort gt that ran pretty well lol.

He just shitted on Indy Evo, Wilson intakes, both people and items he used to promote and make all the little nutswingers hang harder. He must not of gotten the discounts he expected or whatever, so made a post saying that his ported manifold that cost 160 was better than the wilson manifold that he was promoting for 1600. So he got everyone to buy the 1600 dollar manifold then later told everyone it was garbage and his 160 manifold would perform the same. Hes a condiscending asswipe, I would love to take my evo there to beat his little white RS but I will not support him in anyway.

I went and raced. It was kinda goofy I raced rfs . at eliminations Anyone raced anyone there wasent any sort of ladder my first race it was an auto neon that was going 10.0 I went 10.4 so I was beat first round. There where 12 second cars on the class too.

It was fun I would go next year you can really dial a car in there.

Low turnout for the event, I was expecting more. I doubt the event will be around next year after seeing the lackluster turnouts the previous 3 years.
