Crappy throttle response after timing belt change?
So here's the story. The O ring for my water pump busted so I needed to replace the pump and timing belt. My car was running fine when I started it cold but I had to give it gas when I tried to crank it warm. Smoke would then come from the exhaust and would smoke for about a minute.
I finally changed my timing belt and water pump and now I have no throttle response from 600rpms until about 3000rpms. Its runs smooth after 3000. Does anyone know what it could be. I have the timing cranked all the way on the distributor to try and get some power. And the only it works even a little bit is with the a/c belt not on. The car runs perfectly fine with the crankshaft pulley off. Once I connect it and put the alternator belt on, it runs sluggish. If I connect the a/c belt, the car barely runs at all.

your timing marks are not lined up. and by maxing out your dizzy either way and continuing to run the car you are gonna toast the engine... I suggest looking at your timing belt again.
if you had smoke pouring out the exhaust you may have other issues. was it white? like classic head gasket not sealing white? do a compression test and let us know the result. make sure and unplug the distributor when you do it.
