Default Really wierd oil leak...

I have a wierd oil leak I'm trying to figure out what it is, but my a while back I had changed the valves in my car because there was a bad compression leak in cylinder 4 and it was misfiring so much. So after that we had fixed it and we put oil in but it seems to leak... I was wondering if the problem could be due to no valve adjustment... it makes that clicking sound and black smoke comes out of my exhaust everytime v-tec kicks in and sometimes I can see smoke coming out of the A/C vents but it doesn't leak the oil TOO fast it does it like every 1000 miles or so... I have 76k miles on it and well... I was wondering if it could be due to no valve adjustment please let me know ASAP...

seriously... take it to a mechanic and let him look at it... I would not be hitting vtec if smoke was filling into my cabin...

Alrighty homie where is the oil leaking is it burning it or is it external? Second you said there is smoke coming out of your vents?... explain, smell what color is it? There are only two options for this symptom. 1 you are burning oil under the hood of your car and you are sucking it up threw the cabin filter while using the ambient air mode. 2 this so called smoke coming out of the vents could be caused by frost our a fog looking gass that is sometimes mistaken for smoke. This is a reaction to the extreme cold air reatcing with the hot ambient air.

Ok... now thats the problem I dont know where its leaking from. I've turned on the engine me and a buddy tried looking everywhere aroudn the engine and nothing... the smoke coming out of the vents doesn't smell like nothing its white... im not quite sure but when we took off the valve cover... it seemed as if there was a lot of oil next to the oil cap.

a lot of oil next to the oil cap. wow...

if you have smoke coming out of the tail pipe, isn't it possible that you're burning oil? take it to a mechanic before you're onto motor#3

why are you going to ask questions anymore, when every time you attempt to fix it more goes wrong???? since you and whoever obviously don't know what you're doing, take it to a smart mechanic and quit wasting your time and this boards with your redundant post about how FUBARed your car is.

I wouldn't get mad at some dude over an interweb forum, blame your mechanic friend. If you have smoke coming out of the exhaust and you don't know the signs you NEED to take it to a shop. its not something that'll fix itself or something that you wanna take a blind stab at. i know what the answer probably is but i dont really like the sarcasm you've exhibited
