dc2/dc4 fuel gauge accuracy
ive owned two integras, one a 95 ls, and the current a 97' ls. In both the fuel gauge seems to be off, like im confident i have more gas in the tank than what its displaying, i was wondering if this was a common problem or what?
2000 GSR, and had a 1991 LS previously.
Both go slightly past full after filling. Both run down to well under E before showing fuel starvation.
E isn't "empty". Its "empty enough that you should get gas at the next place". I've driven 40 miles after E, and 20 miles after the light came on.
And the tank is very obviously not baffled (or very well if there are any). During autocross use, I fuel starve with 1/4 tank on sweeping corners. I imagine that the angle of the car affects the needle much more as the tank gets lower.

yeah it does i have a 95 ls i put a jdm b16 in int it had and 1/8 of a tank left of gas and the car wount start whillin jack stands i had to go get more gas for it to start. so angle does play a big part
