auto cross set up help

Default auto cross set up help

hi im new to auto cross i have a 90 dx civic hatcback it has a rear disk break conversion done and has a bulit d16z6 in it as of right now...what kinda suspension should i get and wat else do i need to do to it

Don't do anything. Seat time is all you need to be upgrading on. Build up yourself first, then over time you will know what you may or may not need for your car. Now go out and participate!

Go autocross for a season. You will learn more about suspensions in a year of autocross than you could hope for in a lifetime of forum help.

1. learn how to drive
2. good tires. with a swap you're in SM at least and Hoosier A6's and Kumho V710's are what you need to compete.
3. suspension. the usual Koni Sport + Ground Control combo with 400-600lb springs can't be beat for the $. you might want to add a rear sway bar as well.
