my 98 civic keeps on blowing the 7.5 fuse what the deal with it help if anyone know

 

well start with checking things like the cig lighter.. and the radio wiring.. since that is what the fuse is for perhaps theres a short someplace

 

Hood fuse 47, right?

This fuse protects circuits to the radio, heater control panel, and ECU. Start by disconnecting the connector for the radio or heater panel to see which (if any) prevents the fuse from blowing.

Is that in the service manual? I got it recently and don't know where most stuff is yet.

 

Look in the Electrical chapter. You'll find it in the Fuses subsection. Page 23-62 in the 96-00 manual.
