how to remove headlight lens?

Default how to remove headlight lens?

i did a search but couldnt find anything, havnt been able to find **** searching lately. i know how to take it off but i usually use a heatgun and screwdriver to pry the glass, but end up chipping it. just wanted to know how hot and how long it usually takes in the oven. and is that **** gona stink up my house or what?

Check it every 5min. Takes about 10~15min, but it really depends on the condition of the headlight.
nope - shouldn't stink up the house at all. If the temperature is set right, then the adhesive will get soft and NOT the plastic. If the plastic gets too hot then you are going to mess up the headlight.

yeh thats why i was trying to find what temp other people put it at. this set looks good and new inside, i painted the housings of the ones off my crx to put on my civic but the reflector chrome is all off. ones off my civic look like new.

you can put it in the oven for a little bit. i cant remember the temp but i will try and search it out.

yeh i know i was trying to find out which temp is best. nm tho i just threw them in at 300 and they came off in about 5 or 6 minutes so im good. thanks anyways.
