Default EF Foglight install.

I was wondering if someone had done a write up on how to install the advanced auto fogs, the ones that look like the JDM ones on a hatch front bumper? If so can someone post a link?

If it hasn't been done, does anyone know how, or have any advice? How far are they supposed to be below the bumper lights?

Thanks for the help, if there isn't a write up I will make one with pics this weekend.

A dremel works well with the cutting attachment.

Just the cutting wheel? Won't that melt the plastic?

What, so they can cut it with a dremel? No thanks.

Just be careful and take it slow, I was just wondering if dremel had a specific plastic cutting bit.

Cut out the center with the cutting attachment...then grind out the edges with the rotary grind attachment...do quick swipes so you don't build up heat...and take your time...

This is how we did it... take a drill to it.

This one is comparing autozone fogs which are pretty common to the better 89 Prelude fogs that i used.

Wow, that looks like a rush job from the work pics, but looks clean all finished.

How much bigger did you make the holes than the actual fogs? Mine are a pretty tight fit. Any close ups?

damn the 89 lude fogs look good on the bumper. ive got the advance ones and was just gona drill a hole to mount the light to the bumper (not cut the bumper all the way out). I may just go ahead and try this when ive got some time to mess with it.

Nice, I installed some of the Prelude fogs too. How did you mount them? To the bumper?

Made a bracket that bolted behind the bumper support.

Yep, Modified the bumper, the hole for the fogs isn't much bigger than the fog it's a really tight fit.. in the pic it doesn't have the bracket bolted up it's just being held in by the bumper.
Looks better with the fog covers on, in the pics the fogs don't have the covers which is why you see a little bit of a gap.

you should buy the oem harness a guy on here makes, he can give you an oem switch to, not those ugly toggle switchs that come with the kit.
im scared to cut into my bumber under the turn signal lights, dont wanna mess up. i might do the grill type deal and bolt it into the front lip holes.
