acura keeps forgetting to do so when I get my oil change done, whats the procedure to reset that light?

 

turn ignition to off
press and hold reset
with button still pressed...turn key to II engine off
still hold reset for about 10 seconds after.

if this doesnt reset..try agin with parking lights and headlights off. maint light will not reset with these on

 

hold down the tripometer, while holding down the trip, turn the key to the on position and wait about 10 seconds...... I think
