Default Lowering Spring questions

Good day all, got a question for you guys. I want to lower my 06 si, I just want a little drop like 1" -1.5", would you guys recommend new shocks as well or will it be cool with just the lowering springs. I know this question has been asked all over the place but I still don't have a concrete answer in my mind after doing some reading. I was looking at the tein s.tech's. which claim to work well with OEM shocks.

well you got the right idea on the springs as teins are great. with a drop that small, you can still use your oem shocks

Prokits won't need camber correction in the rear if you are actually worried about that.

i would go with eibach sportlines.
thats what i have and the ride quality is better than the tein
i rode in an si with s techs and it was a little bouncy.

^ Lol... what's "bouncy?" everyone has their own definition of it.

but to the op, if ur looking for a subtle drop, and do not want the HFP, id go with the ProKit.

Isn't kind of hard to get a objective evaluation when you yourself are rolling on eibachs?

The eibach are smoother if you are comparing the two. My friend also has them and i agree the teins are a tab bit bouncy.

Aren't there two spring options from Tein for this particular chassis?
