hello all just curious about something if anyone has had problems like this b4 with their 98 crv

3 weeks ago the crv wouldnt start it seemed to not get spark so i tried replacing the wires and it started up instantly, not today after a hard downpour of rain the night b4 it wont start up again. the plugs seem to have a greenish brown look so im guessing they are burning fine? what else could cause the car not to start? any insight would be nice and yes i searched.

 

Without knowing anything about the car or maintenence, I would reccomend you do the cap and rotor and also plugs right off.

 

x2. '97-01 CR-Vs are very finicky about ignition system components.

Cap, rotor, and plugs should be replaced every 30,000 miles, along with the PCV valve, air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter, transmission fluid, and differential fluid.

Use only NGK or Denso plugs.
