ok so earlier i installed my gc sleeve coilovers, the left one sit fine like it should.

but the right strut sticks out of the tower about 4 inches...

idk wtf is wrong im pretty sure i put everything on like it should be.

the left side has an oem strut, and the right side has a kyb gr-2, could this be the problem?

ill have pics up tomorrow to show what im talking about

 

if your saying the shock comes through the car and comes up so high the hood will not close?

pretty sure your missing a washer type thing that stops the strut from moving farther up and allows for it to be compressed

i may be wrong

and my explanation sounds horrible

yeah i figured it out today. i forgot the washer that goes between the bumpstop and the top of the strut. i feel like a dummy! haha oh well, its fixed.
