Temperatur dropping ITR
Hello, I got a problem with my 98 Integra Type R. My engine coolant temperatur is dropping when i have high RPMs on the engine, also when im driving downhill the temperatur is dropping. Under normal driving the temperatur is ok. I have replaced the thermostat 2 times, replaced the ECT sensor (located on the thermostat housing) and replaced coolant fluid. Anybody who can help me here?
Sorry abaut my english, im from Norway

There is also one more sensor located on the cylinder head, which might be the sensor you need to replace. Its located underneath the distributor.
Do you have any performance symptoms other than noticing the inaccuracy of the needle?

I think there is 2 sensor in the syl head, 1 temp sensor for the coolant gauge and 1 sensor for ECU wather signal. I dont have any other problems with the car, i checked for fault codes, and i got out nr 6 ECT sensor, this one i have replaced.
which thermo do you have the stock 180?
and what fluid too?
I used to run a cooler one... it used to show/get cooler if was off the gas on a downhill or decline from higher speeds.
And on track it never went higher then the normal place, where the stock would actually hit the halfway point.

i had the same problem, even after i replaced the t stat and coolant. i never figured it out, but it would tend to go away when the motor was warmed up after a very decent amount of time. this would happen in the winter, but doesnt happen anymore now that the ambient temp is warmer outside.
