Also, in doing so, share with us who laid the vinyl wrap on the car, and approximately how long it took that person to complete the job.
If you want to, let us in on how much it cost you.
This ought to be cool.

Existence One/111 Ink did ours.
Notified them Saturday. Started design Monday, Printed on Tuesday, Car was done on Wednesday afternoon.
Pics are here somewhere.
There's only a handful that have done this I believe. Clutchmasters Integra, Norris' Clutchmaster Insight, Loan's Driveshaft Shop Civic, NRG Tech Civic, Exospeed Civic, Quaker State/Kenny's Civic and Scion TC. There's partial wraps like Lookofsky's DVS Civic, Nalani's CRX, and Steve Conley's Civic. The GM cars were possibly partial wraps. John Brown's Civic was also wrapped from what I remember.
Ya cool thread if there's actually new ones to look at, but we all see these cars all the time.n

the only good thing to a wrap is u can change it year 2 year. & they can be as wild as the person can create.
also u can clear coat over them bu then its alot harder to get off

I dont think a clear coat is needed. They put either a laminate on the vinyl before its layed on the car.
Yes prices are about $2000-4K depending on how much design work and how complicated the body is.

Visual Marketing here in Salt lake City.
Hard to say how long it actually took, I dropped the car off with them in the middle of their move so I let them have it for a week and a half.
The front end alone was only $800.00, but that price was a little cheaper since we did the golf cart and the trailer.

Clear is not needed as this is what I do for work. The clear will make it more permanant.
Pricing is considered in these variables.
Complexity
Design
Film (this will make or break the price) 5 year or 6 months durability
Laminate
Labor
Making the price yet another $2,000 to $5,000
Some people think it should cost less than paint and when i tell you its alot more!

ya full car wraps are not for everyone. I mean, as far as price, for the average guy, paint will be much cheaper. But if you're doing it for marketing, advertising, the value of a wrap is worth it over the price of paint. You're getting more for your money with an eye catching wrap over a slightly cheaper paint job with basic stickers.
I was surprised how fast ours got done though. we knew we were limited in time to paint the car for SEMA, so it was easier and much better choice for a car going to the convention. Was happy how ours turned out with just 3 days of getting it done. We'll probably rewrap the car at another time so its cool that it can just come off and put a new one on.

2.5 years old at this pic and still looks great. i have moved on from the wraps though.
monstermedia.com a.k.a wrapvehicles.com
they catier to clients like monster energy, honda mfg co., dvs, dc shoes, active skate shop, etc etc.
the wrap took about 11 hours straight and can install anywhere in the usa. they will come to you, and cost factor is about 2650 for me. but the design work was done from a friend of mine so it cut the cost down a bit. but there are differences in quality of vynil. 3m control tac is the only way to go if you want your wrap to last. i had mine for 4 years sitting in the sun before i took it off and still looked like it did when it first was installed.
well i know u dont have to clear them the clear vinal that goes on is 2 protect the print & a UV protection. but if u clear over it it will stay nicer longer & give it a painted look.
I have been in talks with a shop that does wraps out here... Hopefully we can get "Pinky" wrapped for next season for sure.... Or I will have my friend at WCC print it out and I will lay it on myself. And before all of you read this and laugh.. I have been doing custom vinyl graphics and custom tint for over 20 years.. I just dont have the machine for wraps...

This was a Civic Coupe that was in the newest "Herbie" movie a couple years ago... The flames on the windows match the paint on the car... I can get down if I do say so myself...

Wraps are alot of work and labor! Not easy takes plenty of hours..
They look good in the end. I am planning a wrap for the shop car! We will see what happens.. I don't want to paint it painting sucks too! But remember you hear it from me 1st! Painting will be obsolete very soon and wrapping is what all body shops will be doing!
