since kpro's out of the question, what do you plan to use for tuning it should be a big concern for deciding which turbo kit you want.

Tuning is definitely your main concern. Not much for the base auto offered. Greddy is probably your best bet and stay on the lower side of the boost scale.

While searching for turbo kits and tuning possibilities do a quick search on grammar and punctuality so I can read your run on sentences better.

So if it's a DD then why are you trying to boost it?

Automatic trannys hate boost.

x2. auto and boost are a bad combo, especially on a dd where you can't afford to have the tranny fail. how about an auto k24 swap instead?

you're looking for advice and you got advice. what's the problem again? it sounds like you were wanting to hear something else, and are getting pissed because you didn't.

if we're misunderstanding your question, it might be because of your horrible grammar and lack of punctuation. proper use of the english language really DOES make it easier for us to understand you.

most people in this thread offered genuine advice. honda's auto trannys can't handle big power increases; your tranny is pretty much garaunteed to die if you turbo your auto rsx.

I have been thinking about mods for the wife's auto RSX that I would not have to work on every week after I do it......I have it figured out....a k24a4 out of the accord.....It has the same lame a$$ veeetack, the intake and header will bolt up and the ecu will run the motor with some 310cc injectors......you have the rear of the head water passage issue buts that nothing hard.... With a good cat back and a cai, you will be putting down like 190whp and like 165ish tq....the auto trans should be able to live with that if you increase the fluid change interverls....just a though.

ill keep that in mind thank you. I was thinking about manual swaping since what everyones telling me but its a dd its automatic for a reason. I just might do some internals for now and be done with it until I start on my integra. But that's not going to be drivable for a while wich sucks.

I've heard rumors about pieces of metal coming through the firewall from the transmission going...I just couldn't imagine that happening though...it doesn't happen that often does it?...shouldn't really be something to worry about unless you are pushing a lot of power.

i agree that the k24 is a good choice if you want good power out of an auto k-series motor.

op, if you're serious about turboing the rsx, a manual swap should be the first thing on your to-do list.

From what all of you guys are saying im leaning towards a manual swap. Im thinking about selling the integra shell so I have a little bit more spending cash for the greddy kit. Even tho my rsx right now is a daily driver I might save up and go out and buy me a used pilot and use that as a dd and mod the rsx. If I didn't hear it from you guys I might have made a mistake and blown a lot of chash ot worse engine/trans. Thanks to everyone who replied in this thread apreciate it much.
