I have a 1990 integra GS. When the car is idleing the hoeses bocome very hard and enein runs very hot. While driving engine cools down too low to register on the dash gague. and hosees become soft and normal. Need help. have replaced : new hose,new radiator,and fans

 

Have you replaced your thermostat?

Also, what type of fans did you install, maybe they are not flowing enough at idle?

 

I replaced the theromostat but the problem wasn't fixed so i took an old tip from a friend an left it out. The fans are the stock replacment fans are are working properly. some one told me maybe a cracked head?

 

What makes you think the head is cracked? Are you loosing water or oil, or does your oil look like chocolate milk? You could could also have a bad radiator.

 

well there is smoke (white/clear) out the exhaust. and haven't looked at the oil yet. How can you check your radiator to see that it is working properly.
