Default Wilwood 12.19" rear kitr on ITR w/pics

OK, I'm sure I'll get some haters wanting to tell me how this is such a waste and that my OEM ITR brakes are more then capable.........but that's not why I did it.
Simply, I hated what the stock ones looked like and I wanted to replace them.
Hope at least a few of you guys can appreciate what I did, if not....oh-well.

Thanks... Yeah, I figured out the rear calipers wouldn't clear my 16's So I had to modify the top of the caliper alittle. Everything else was a straight bolt on.

Haven't really tested them out yet. I need to bleed them alittle more and break them in good. I feel more confident that they'll do there job though.

Very nice how much was that setup? Is that a 2pot caliper? There are a couple of things that I see that might be problematic at the track though. 1st the pad swept area doesnt cover the whole swept of the disk and then those drilled disk will start cracking with heat. But nonetheless its a nice looking arrangement.

The kit was just over $1,200 for the whole thing (calipers, rotors, brake lines e-brake cable and pads) I was the first to buy the kit so I'm not sure if the price will change. I'm not sure why you think these will start crackin when I've had crossed drilled and slotted rotors on my cars for years and never had a problem. These aren't cheaply made like some so maybe that'll make the difference.

I still have my e-brake. You can either buy the cables from wilwood that fit perfect or you can try and modify your stock cable to work. The stock one's were a little short.

ALL drilled rotors will crack when put through the paces. Its just physics, the holes become stress risers because the heat concentrates on the periphery of the hole, and the cracks develop from there. Its nothing new and its no secret. That’s why Porsche doesn’t race their drilled Brembo POS disks in the GT3’s and Cup cars. They run Performance Friction and AP instead.

As for them being cheaply made, well they're not like the endless/rotora/ksport crap but they're not top of the line either.

I guess I never used them that hard. Thanks for your input.
