J12 Pin on OBD1 ECUs

I read off of moates website that J12 needs to be removed while chipping ecu's. I have not down this before but also it has been a while since i chipped ecu's. Is it nessasary to remove J12 now?

For pretty much every program except the OLD uberdata stuff you need to remove J12 to enable the datalogging for the tuning programs. So yes, just remove it.
