Hello everyone, little question for ya all.

I have a 98 integra LS , when i lightly press the gas in the 2000 rpm range i hear a strange clinging sound... like something is loose under the car. When i press the gas harder and make the engine rev high i do not hear it.
anyone else have this problem? The car runs 100% fine.... the sound is just really annoying! any ideas on what this could be?

Could be a small exhaust leak.

 

yeah, because exhaust leaks make a clinging loose sound, lol. definately check the heat shield. i think every honda i've ever owned had one that eventually rattled loose.
