Default B series oil pan's for boost

I sold a turbo kit and included my 00 gsr oil pan that was tapped and he is boosting a b16. I know it will fit on but im not sure if the pick ups would be alright and if he is boosting, i dont want him to blow it. Should he just tap his b16 or will my gsr pan work? Reason being, is he wants to get everything on in a morning/afternoon so he can tune later (being his dd)

a gsr oil pan will fit any B-series engine.. what makes the gsr/type-r oil pans diff. from the others is the added clearance for the cradle for the main bearing caps.. a gsr oil pick up tube bolts to the cradle so " U can NOT use a gsr oil pickup tube on a B16 " unless its a B16B which uses a gsr/type-r block... your friend can bolt up the gsr oil pan to his B16 and will be OK... i have used a gsr oil pan on a turbo B20 Vtec with the B20 oil tube and never had a issue with starvation for oil... So to answer your question slap the gsr pan on and happy boostin....
