Possible to hit 13's with better transmission?
b18c1
LS transmission
xtd 12lb flywheel
vx wheels
walbro fuel pump that doesn't pick up fuel past half tank and I was just about half
EG Chassis.
With the LS transmission, shifting at 8.2k, each shift brings me down to 6k, which is just about where secondary butterfly's gives me the best power. I'm at 7k in fourth when I hit the finish line.

of course a closer gear ratio tranny will help on the time, but you have a ways to go to reach 13's. get rid of the gsr mani and get a skunk2 or somethin similar.
vx is 14", get some 15" drag radials.

What's a good 0-60? I did 2.3 pretty consistently. I tried launching a little higher, but then I had wheel hop, I'll post videos of my first two trial runs.
VX is 13's, HX is 14's. I won't lose acceleration with bigger tires?

Wasn't this in washington lol? I was going to go but my build isn't done and it's my senior year
Your times vary between 2 seconds so maybe work on timing and launching and throw a b16 tranny on. Then you may be close with good shifting

Not 0-60.. He is talking about your 60 foot times... I would opt for a 96-up GSR trans and possibly an LSD if you can swing it.. That will get your times down. Also, if you get a set of slicks you can knock it down by .500.. Pre loading... There are many different factors that come into play... If you can get your 60fts to 2.0 you could be looking at 14.0.. 1.8's should get you into the 13's... Keep going to the track and practice.. practice , practice , practice....

Get a B16 or ITR tranny and I bet you will get in the 13s if not really close. Your 60' time needs work. Keep the VX wheels, they are super light at 8 lbs a piece. Even with crappy street tires, good throttle/clutch control will put you around a 2.0 60' time consistantly and you will see your times. What does the car weigh with you in it?
Umm, that 15 second run was when I had excessive wheel hop.
The car weighs 2250 ish with me in it. I'm only 135. That's without the back seats. Alright, when I get another chance to go to the tracks with a different transmission I'll post it up, thanks.

Different gearing may get you close, but not into the 13s in my opinion. Diff trans will gain about .4 but if you work on the 60fts that will get you into the 13s for sure. Get slicks, drop the 60ft to a 1.8 and you'll gain another .8-.9 off the ET. Y
Basically what I said Wil... lol
