ITR drag racers.....
I dont know too much about drag setups for ITR drag cars, but I was wondering if there is a drag wheel/tire combo out that that will work with the stock brakes?? I want to run slicks, but I think they will only fit on like 13inch wheels which I dont think will work with ITR front brakes. I want to be able to get the most out of it on the drag strip but Im sick of running the stock wheels with street drag tires. Any help is appreciated. Thanx

hell no. if I want four lug ill buy a civic. I want drag wheels and tires that will fit the ITR brakes. If they dont make any then I will just stick to street drags.

on ITR lug patterns, we have the custom Bogart wheels mounted with M&H 23x7.5x15.
this is the most common setup that we sell for the ITR guys

now how good will a 23 inch slick hold up to 300whp or so , maybe a tad higher?
i need something new , but still debating wether i should go 24.5 or not.

at 300hp, it should still be ok.
Laskey/nineseccrx, were pushing these sizes way into the 9's
so the 23's are still good for 300hp turbo power.

but they were pushing 23's on 13 though? correct? that makes a big difference.
a 23 inch high slick might not hold up for me on 15's? i have 22's now and im over pwoering them .

Im running an ALL MOTOR setup, so Im assuming I dont want a huge slick, because the motor isnt making as much power. I could be completely wrong here though.
I forgot more about hondas then you will ever know....

22x8-15 on a 15x7.5,15x7, 15x6.5 or 15x 6 wheel. the woder the wheel, the better the contact patch. i ran them on kosei 15x7, and laid down 1.90 60's. not bad for a autocross suspension i guess.
i dont know man , for your set up you should be fine . .but for mine , i cant get this car off the line with thses slicks
next year i think im gonna run the 8.5x 24.5x15 from M&H and a set of bogarts up front and maybe some skinnies in the back ./

I ran most of last season on 22x8x15" Mickey Thompson slicks. Got consistent high 1.7 60 foot times. They fit good on stock ITR wheels.
On a NA car not making TOO much power (I guess >200hp), the 22x8x15's work well.
I have ran 4 lug Civic brakes with 13" Lensos (with 22x8x13" slicks), and it gave me more MPH. traction was similar, but didn't launch as high (6500rpms vs. 7200rpm).
Hope that helps.

I plan to be 220-240 at the wheels(hopefully), NA. What do you recommend for my slicks? Will the MT 22/8/15's be ok? I dont need anything crazy, just something to help hook up at the track so I can get some better times.
Oh wow, I just read your signatiure, 01-0129. I'm 2 away from U, at 01-0131.
With 220 to 240HP, you'd need to run at least 22x8x13" slicks. Anything less, you'll just blaze tires.

RTW what are you running in that na setup for 220-240 hp to the wheels
I think Im gonna rock the 22/8/15s mickies on the stock ITR wheels and see how they are. Unfortunately this probably wont be until next season now. Thx for the replies.
