Default Installing new valves

Are new valves drop ins ? Obviously you would want to look at seat condition but other than that are they a drop in application ? Do they need to be lapped ? On stock valve seats will the valve angles always be the same to ensure a good seal, i would think only the last angle would matter since thats the only part the valve touches....?

I would imagine you would want to lap them at the very least. The valves that you are taking out, were they damaged in any way or are you just upgrading?

NO. You need to get a valve job, ie. valve seat and valve have to be recut.
