steering wheel probably just needs an alignment. if the car is lowered as toe changes the wheel will change center. or you could have some fubared parts under there somewhere. get a alignment shop to check it.

sometimes your speedo works? check the plugs on the cluster first... from there... its gonna get ugly...

lol alright will do. yeah sometimes lol idk like it will be working then it will start trippin out and just bouncing around. or sometimes it just wont work at all. my temp gauge and my gas guage both work. this will be my first time checking the plugs on the cluster so if you could help me out a lil and just tell me what im looking for lol you would be awsome. :D

just make sure they are plugged in and have a good connection. you can check the plug on the tranny too.

with the tach not working... thats run directly off the signal sent back from the dizzy.

sounds like something sinister is amiss. check fuses, check connections, then go from there.

As previously stated, an alignment would help correct the steering dysfunction. As far as the cluster you should remove it and inspect the circuitry on the back. Make none of them are broken or inconsistent. I had the same problem and it ended up being that.

Does the car drive straight but the steering wheel is just not centered?

Regarding the speedo problem, is the CEL ON? Start by inspecting the plug connected to the VSS atop the transmission to see whether it is corroded, wet, or loose. (VSS = vehicle speed sensor)

Sometimes a tach problem indicates a problem with the igniter unit inside the distributor, but first check whether the blue wire connected to the igniter unit is loose or corroded.

Could be a VSS. Clusters rarely go bad.

--Sry.. it's the blue wire on the plug that plugs into the back of the tach part on the cluster.. follow it to under the hood and check everything..
