Best car security for my honda cr-x____
What is one of the best security do you guy recommend so thieves wont be available to steal my cr-x (clutch club, quick realised, pull out your ecu, alarms, Ect) please let me know
A clan of Ninja assassins. That's what i would use. ****'s would think twice about stealing your car with a clan of Ninjas surrounding it.
Seriously, though, if someone really wants your car, they'll get it. My buddy at work recently had his 98 ek stolen from him, while he was home, one night. He never heard anything, until it was too late. I think they may have jimmied the door or lock, and released the neutral safety catch, and rolled it down the street,so he wouldn't hear them, and then probably flat bedded it with a roll back. I though he was close to getting it back, because one of the techs from another Honda dealership said he saw it driving around that area. Not sure if he'll get it back, but i hope he does. That's the bad thing about thieves. If they want it, they're gonna take it. Doesn't matter what security system you have on it, unless you have a factory anti theft system on it.

i concur lol. no but in all seriousness get yourself a decent paging alarm, clutch locks, kill switches for the fuel relay, injectors, etc. or just put it in a garage if you can. if a thief really wants your car most likely he's going to get it, but the more layers of security you have the better.
I recently had my CRX stolen and I had a Clifford Alarm system from 1991, so I don't know what to tell you.

BUT, I will tell you that having the attitude "If they want it they'll steal it" is a horrible way to go about it. Get yourself a two way pager, a ton of kill switches, a GPS system (NOT LoJack), and a 12 gauge shotgun so that when/if that pager does go off you'll be able to dispose of the thieves easily. They'll think twice about coming back.
^^^ Probably not actually, they'll just come back with guns, so forget the 12 gauge thing.
A kill switch connected thru a factory switch or hidden switch is a good start. Be creative, lighter pushed in, high beam sw, defrost, something momentary you need to push in while turning the key in the crank position. That is a good way to prevent someone from taking your vehicle, but a alarm is the best "deterrent" and will keep many away.

I mentioned to my buddy at the dealership that i wanted to design and install a high voltage system to shock the **** out of any would be thief. He said that was illegal and that the thief could sue me for that. I said, why, stun guns aren't illegal, why should that be. Just because they don't know it's wired to shock the **** out of anyone who tries to steal it? Just because they don't know it's there? I say, bull. If your car is an extension of your home, and you can legally own and carry an stun gun for protection, then why can't you wire your car with a really big stun gun for you car's protection? I think it's only fair. A car thief would think twice before stealing another car, again, after he/she got the **** shocked out of them for attempting to steal a car wired with 50,000 volts. If that was the case, getting sued for that, i mean, then what would stop me from suing the **** out of the thief? I mean he stole my property. Probably damaged it in the process. Not too many car thieves are very careful when they steal a car. Most are flippin' idiots. Whatever. I'm babbling, and ranting. I think the only way you can completely deter a thief from jacking your ride, is to get four of those tire boots that the cops slap on your car in big cities like New York, to keep you from driving away without paying your fine for a parking violation. If you had a boot on all four tires, how the hell are they gonna hotwire it and drive off? Or better yet, how the hell are they gonna be able to roll it down the street so they can ****** it up on a flat bed? They're not, but it would be a PITA for the owner to lock them and unlock them, everytime.

If you want to turn your car into a stun gun isn't all you have to do is have a big enough sign that is visible on the car warning of the 50,000 volts just like electrical fences. Its not your fault that they where curious the sign clearly warned them right.
As for car alarms I would go with the clifford advent guard or the intelliguard has starter kill, ignition kill, black jax, and you can install all your own kill switches to other vehicle components to disable the motor from starting or being towed.

i have a kill switch. I accidentally flipped it once and my car wouldnt start, If it could fool me. im pretty sure it could fool somebody thats trying to steal my car. make sure you hide it though
what i have is viper alarm, grant steering wheel release with lock cap attachment, clutch club, unplug my distributor harness, and before i remove my steering wheel, i turn the wheel all the way till it locks. So incase someone tows it (which it has been before) the wheel would be locked and turned so it cant be hauled up a tow bed.
PS. if you have a small enough siren, me and my boy were saying, to install one inside of the car near the driver seat so if the alarm does go off at least it would **** up his ears, scare him, and make some time to catch the sumamatrick!

To the OP. If you haven't seen this, check this out. Its a good GPS system. My friend knows from first hand experience, that it works. His friend had a car stolen with this system in it and got it back. Pretty quickly, i might add. http://driveok.com/
That's not true. I've been able to pull a vehicle up onto a rollback with the wheels turned and locked, with no key to be able to get into the vehicle and unlock the steering wheel. It took me a little bit to get it up there, but i managed to do it. I'll remember that for the rest of my life, because i was mad as hell that i had to do it that way. It was pouring out raining that day, and the guys Ford F-150 was almost half way into a ditch, where his truck died along the road. To make matters worse, the steering wheel was turned towards the ditch, and he didn't leave us a key to get into it with. I had to lay down on the wet *** ground while it was raining, to try to hook up to his truck so i could pull it up on the rollback. If i could do it, than ANY thief with a rollback can do it. I used to work at an independent repair shop and we offered wrecker service.
everyone has been giving good info so i will just summarize and agree with everyone. get a good paging alarm with a kill switch. also get a hood pin installed so if they try to pop your hood to kill the horn it will go off. and lastly get some kind of lo-jack installed so it can be traced by gps.
DONT get those stupid clutch/steering wheel locks, those dont work and will just be a waste of money.

once i get an alarm im thinking ill hook up 2 loud as hell horns, so that if they try to cut the siren they go off and not only wake me up in the process but scare the living **** outa the people trying to steal it.
best way for your car not to be towed is to park cars behind you. even then they can get it sometimes.

and if they do attempt to, it'll take them longer.
Layers of security are the way to go.
One alarm, one switch, one wheel lock... one of anything isn't the way to go.
Get several devices and cross your fingers.

nope, the bats are cool, they dont even poo on it..
i beg to differ... ex: this is a little different situation, but one night (many years ago) i had a clutch lock on, came out of the club,(drunk) could not for the life of me get that thing off... woke up the next morning, got the thing off and drove home.. so from my personal experience clutch locks not only deter theives, but can be a life saver.
