Can't get crx to sit on all 4 jack stands.
Does it mean I have a twisted frame? My car always end up sitting on just 3 jack stands and hovers about an in above the rear driver's jack.
mine did the same thing once it leveled out my doors wouldn't shut til i put it on the ground. My crx had a bunch of rust so it may have been warped.
Could be just that one jackstand, too. It might be shorter than the others. Differences in manufacturing. Cheaper stands tend to do that. Could be the car, too. You never know.
I had that once but on a different car. My jackstands had 4 positions i could put them on to rise or lower. I always had to put the front ones on the 3rd hole, and the back ones on the 4th hole.
Maybe you floor is uneven to ,that was the case in my garage. try jacking the car up on bloth sides in the front, put the jacks under it and then move towards the back.

My 91 hatch was extremely rusty. I don't know if that had anything to do with it but. when I jacked it up front for back, the doors would not shut easy. I almost had to lift the doors to shut them.
Stupid.
It's normal for the doors to not be able to shut properly, not just because your car is rusty.
Have you measured the distance from floor to car? If it's even at the front, and uneven at each rear corner then your chassis may be twisted. If it's lower at the (for example) left rear, and higher on the right front, then your floor is unlevel.

hey dont digitally bash on eachother.
1: your drive way is uneven
2: your jackstands are uneven
3: your mom is uneven
4: go to an alignment shop and get an alignment done, they can most probably tell you if your frame is bent by the amount of adjustment your car has to go through. for example your car has too much negative camber and your car is stock height. Your car still drives to the left even after your car was aligned properly, your car dogtails nastily. its possible to have slightly bent frame due to old age. but if your car hasnt gotten into an accident then most likely your "" is uneven
dont worry if your car cant stand on all three jackstands on the same level. just lift one stand to the next notch.

this thread makes me lol. i understand the idea behind getting an alignment. what i can't understand is how this discussuion turned into a debate of stupid ****. lol. i'm gonna have to go with the ground may be uneven where you are placing the jacks.
