Intake Manifolds?
Ok bro, if your not going to help then don't post. Dont get everyone into that argument once again.
As for the integra type R (RSX) intake manifold fitting a base k20 motor, it should work. I called around and and asked if it would fit my type S motor and it is positive that it would fit. The k2oa intake manifold is the same as the k20a2 and the k20a3, just it is wider. Good Luck with swap bro.

Thanks a lot. Is $400 a decent price to pay, because that's what my friend got quoted for one?

4oo.oo dollars..Well thats not that bad, I got quoted like 325.oo, but I forgot the company. It was a place on the east coast, damn, I can't remember. If I remember the name or remember where I got the website from I will post again. Good Luck bro.

The tricky question is, I'm not even talking about a Type S motor, I'm talking about the base RSX motor. I feel like it's a lost cause trying to get my friend to make this car decent, but I'm working on it none-the-less.
Even if it fits, this manifold is probably going to be a poor choice for a base motor.
The base motor has a dual stage intake manifold designed to give a nice torque curve with the much less aggressive cams found in it. This motor's version of i-VTEC is basically the new version of the old VTEC-e, not designed for top end power like the other K20s. The DC5R manifold has single large ports that are good for making power exactly where the base motor doesn't: 6500~7000+ rpm.
He'll probably lose power and torque with that manifold.
