okay i was lowering my car today and my left rear side coilover rings worked fine. Then i went to my right rear coilovers i couldnt get the little bottom ring to spin so i couldnt spin the coilover down.I used the two hooks and turned as hard as i could but the bottom wouldnt loosen up.Can anyone help me out.

did you release the pressure off of the rings? or, are you sure your going the right direction to loosen them?

 

yeah im spinning it the right way and to release the pressure is spining the two rings on top first right then spin the little gold one on the bottom to lock it but i cant spin the gold ring for nothing.

 

im thinking the last time i missed with them i might of tighten it alittle to much.

 

take a screw driver and a hammer and punch the notch on the ring clockways to losen them. you might have to hit the top one to slide it up so the bottom one has play to move upward
