Default My interior light fues keep dying after put more LED on my car.

I already have 4LEDs on each side on foof pedal.
And I just install 36more LEDs on one side, after that, fuse keep dying.

The interior light fuse is 7.5.
Do I need to use different size?

I forgot to mention, I got the wire from the dome light.

In general, this is somewhat bad advice.

If you need to go to a bigger fuse to support more electrical load, you should replace the wires too. Fuses are always rated lower than the wires used, so that in a short the fuse is what burns first. Replacing a fuse with a larger one can cause the wires to burn first in a short.

Tap directly from the battery, use an automotive relay, go oversize on the wires, and calculate the fuse needed based on load of the attached lights.

My air pump (used for tires) kept blowing the cig lighter fuse, so I replaced with a larger one. 2 weeks later, the same pump burned the wires, behind the dash. I'm very lucky it didn't set the carpet on fire. Lesson learned the hard way on that one...

your ideas on wiring make me a little worried First I question your wiring it sounds like you have a lot of rigged wiring for the leds you have mounted. I would go over everything any splices need to be done correctly and need to have heat srink over them at the very least electical tape. then I would see if you stll blow fuses if so then as already posted you need to pull power from a diff source, rate the fuse just above the max current that they will draw under normal load

It could be because the leds use less power.

okay this is even worse. What would make you think that using less power would cause the fuse to blow? A fuse is designed to allow only so much current draw after that the filiment inside burns and disconects power. This is so that your electrical system, the wiring inside the car is protected and does not continue suppling power, overheat and set things on fire or do more damage to other systems.

LEDS use less volts but the setup he has it uses more AMPS which why it blows the fuse.

If you just upgrade the FUSE, the wires might not be able to handle the extra AMPS and could heat up and cause a CAR FIRE!

The best solution is running a direct wire from the fuse box or battery with a new inline fuse with better wiring.
