Ok I am in the middle of swaping in a h22 into my 92 si lude. I am wondering what i need to do to run with no ac compressor since the belt is to long without it. can i just order a diff belt from another car or what?

also I just recived my vtec-subharness from rywire and i am tring to see if i can get by with only wireing the vtec wires up. because after i put my h23 harness on the h22 i was left with only 2 clips that had no match (vtec) so i am asking if my h23 harness already had knock and IAB on it?

also what do i need to do (if i even need to) on my h22 to keep the internal coil distr. ?
do i have to wire anything up? do i have to switch the h23 distr. onto the h22?

I think i found my answer bout the knock and IAB, but still need to know if i can run without my ac compresor. and what if anything do i need to do with the distr. do i jsut leave the h22 one on , or wire something to run the h22 one or just swap back to the h23 one?

 

get a 37" 6 rib belt from any parts store (a search would have yielded this info at about 7:30PM, instead of waiting 5 hours for me to tell you

and as for the distributor, you can run either, but some wiring is required for switching one to the other. what is your harness set up for? and why would you not call the guy you bought the harness from?

 

thanks for the help. i called the guy at rywire and he didnt know if my harness had knock ect.. but i found out it does...
so i do have to wire something to use the h22 distr. , i am useing my h23 harness
