for some reason i get a weird idle
i checked for codes i got a 10.. and a 40?
once i rest my foot on the gas it gives me a weird idle
vrm vrm vrm vrm vrm vrm vrm etc.
but when i give it more gas idle is gone nor it is there when i start the car
i have a b18a1 with a stock gsr head.. stock p28 ecu
short ram intake.. what could be the problem

If you are really reading CEL code 40 (doesn't exist), then the ECU is malfunctioning.

Then you are misreading what you are calling code 40. Determining the correct CEL code (4?) might lead to a solution.
