Ok whoa, this looks too good to be true to be honest. Do you have pictures? I can't even think where to start asking questions about a car like that.

I mean, car looks good from images... but I mean, looking and just a swap and stuff would be 3000 plus for engine,
"2003 Acura RSX Type S engine w/ 6 speed tranny.
It come with engine harness ,computer and shift linkage.
Only 38,000 miles. $3,000.00"

I mean even I was just to get it for swap parts would be good too>? have an 02 honda civic (es1) (auto :S) and would be interested in swapping it in, but I mean I get the whole car? I understand from mods, car decrease in value but a good deal? Got to be something else.. I mean says rebuilt but....

Either a scammer or most likely he meant 13,900(which would be reasonable). have you talked to the guy yet and established how much he is asking? It sounds REALLY FAKE to me. Even if the motor was bad you could part out the car for like 5k minimum

Definately not a legit deal. Something is missing, or something is fishy, no question about it.

There has to be something wrong with it that would be expensive to replace...or maybe it has a salvaged title perhaps...but if it's legit, then yeah...it's a great deal...i'd check the history report and see if the title is clean...and possibly have it checked out by a mechanic.

way too good to be true...

i just bought an '04 RSX-S with 82,000 miles and no major mods for 10,000... and that was a good deal. its pretty mint, just dropped and the last fool put some ebay special intake on her... but the engine and tranny run real good and the interior is real clean. if you get an S-type for less than 7,000 and its not all shot to hell, well, you should probably just drop it off at the nearest impound lot because something about that car is HOT... otherwise, good luck

Yeah you'll get an email back with broken English asking you to send a check and then they'll send you the car. I've been through this, a car was 20 minutes from my house and they wanted to ship it to me haha.

Oh you gotta love the "ebay protection plan" scam. I was going to buy a Yukon that was about 100 miles from my house, yet they wanted to ship it to me...... Damn foreigners...

How about the Russians that try and sell you 4th gen h22 Preludes for 5 grand that small like ****, and look like ***? Ohh gotta love Summertime 2007.

swapping a d series into an rsx is stupid.

this.

what also doesn't make sense is that the car has 38k miles, but the tranny has 40k miles?

I meant swapping INTO the honda, lmao, imagine trying to sell an RSX with a d-series lol... but yeah, got a response back.

"Hello there,
I appreciate that you contacted me. First let me say that the 2003 Acura RSX Type-S is available for $3,900 (final price).
It is in good condition, there's no scratches or any dents on it,very well maintained, please check the pictures, I have a clear title for it, no liens or loans. It has 99,100 km.
Never been in any accidents.Where are you located?
The reason why I'm selling it so cheap (it`s real value is far from this price...) is because my 8 year old daughter is very sick and we need those money as soon as possible, right now i don`t care of it`s real price,my daughter`s health is more important.....
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate ask
Best Regards"

YES ITS IN KM< yes I am canadian... lmao eh.

Hmmm, still smells a little fishy to me. You would have to check it out in person now and maybe take it somewhere to be inspected.
