Sportsman cars are not supposed to do there burnout past the line. I hate when people do that.

Last time I checked the NHRA is still around and still has sportsman racing with the same rule in effect. IHRA has the same rule BTW.

Obviously I was commenting on NHRA in context to Sport Compact racing.. IHRA? they let imports run?

Im not "hating"(people still use that term?) on him at all. I simply said dont do huge 1/8 mile burnouts because 1.) that isnt needed at all and 2.) It holds up every other racer behind you sitting in their car. It's called common courtesy.

My local track is an IHRA track and that rule is in effect for any sportsman car even on test and tune nights. you get one warning

That's what most people call this site.. for reply's like yours unfortunately.. the DOOD ran 10.2 on his very FIRST RUN!.. and you are critiquing his burnout ..

btw NED is an IHRA approved track.

Of course they wouldn't let that fly at a bigger sanctioned event but it WASN'T and most of these doods are starting out on the street's where there isn't NHRA or IHRA protocall.

if it makes you sleep better the guy is sorry he did a burnout to the 330 mark. and says he is really sorry he ruined all of your day. Sheesh you wonder why people quit racing and even posting its all about the "Technical Drag Racing Gurus" Though you guyd would enjoy the video but I guess not dont worry I am taking it down! Mods please close this thread.. I wont bother posting anything like this anymore..

I understand that which is why I posted. Instead of thinking people here are complaining take it as something you can learn about racing at a track.

Yeah my track is IHRA approved too doesnt mean they follow all the rules. there are low 9 second DSMs that run local with no cage in them at all and they dont get booted but they do ask for you to be courteous to other racers in the lanes. sorry for posting my 2 cents.
