I think everyone does that.

Have you tried McDonald's trays yet? That's fun too. Don't get caught though, cuz you'll look like a complete idiot.

Jack two trays, put them under your back wheels and go car-skiing. Only last like 30 seconds tho, but it's fun haha

I like doing donuts on the trays, not just sliding around. It's super super fun.

Anyways, when I had a stock GSR ecu, I'd just bounce it off the redline in 2nd for a few seconds. When I upgraded to a Skunk2 ecu (higher cutoff), I couldn't bounce it, so I had to keep track of where the revs were. I tried shifting into 3rd as I was spinning around..ended up misshifting. Took it to 9k. The tranny had a 2nd gear grind from then on. Soon after, 3rd started to grind.

My own damn fault.

Stack up 2 trays and it will last twice as long.

Fowler: sounds like you really abused your motor and tranny. There's no need to be bouncing off the revlimiter. I don't even spin the front tires, I keep them gripped, then the tail just follows the dog, it's fun as ****. If I do want to do 4-wheel drifts and donuts I just keep the tires spinning but at like 5-6k no need to bounce of the limiter..

Jeez man that was awesome!

The first pic looked so real to me.

There's a local ATL club that does a lot of "Tray Sliding" and they even have some video of it.

Feel free to check out the site and register for the message board over there. It's more local ATL-oriented, but it's still pretty cool nontheless.

Check out the videos under the multimedia crap.

That video sucks. They're just spinning in the same spot and doing small little drifts. We have this massive parking lot where we go, and people go without trays, and go maybe 45-50mph across the lot and then lock the back and pitch the car sideways. And you drift the entire parking lot sideways, it's amazing..

Sorry that the video wasn't to your likings MaxBoost.

Their server has always been kind of iffy with large videos, and those videos are like 2 years old, so I'm sure that the events have "evolved" since then.

I think it's good enough to show what the Tray Sliding stuff looks like to the guy who's never seen it before.

I heard you need to be carefull of metal trays because they spark alot, but they're supposed to last forever :D

here's the trayslide international site, it's got some info there too
