i just did my valve adjustment and it's ticking louder. I set the exhaust at 24 and intake at 19mm. i check some of the valve because i adjusted them and they were at 12 to 14mm

ok and you adjusted the valves cold or hot ? best results are cold under 100 deg's
and your sure you didnt get the exhaust and intake mixed up. just asking that's all not knocking you

i was looking at the gauge all wrong but i fix it but still a little ticking (maybe knocking noise) but now i have to wait because the motor is not as cold as when i started adjusting them
ya i did mine when it was really cold outside and adjusted them all but they ticked when the engine finnaly got to temp but double tap everything hopefully its sumthin stupid n easy
sounds like you set your valves on the loose side (even outside the range)
i would do them again with the proper feeler guages.
also, it is normal for these motors to tick, the injectors are very noisy. and if you have a vtec motor d16y8, then the LMA's can tick sometimes too.
its not bad, it wont hurt anything.

Double check your clearence.
Ticking is normal but excessive ticking is obvious.
Your injectors are audible as well so its not going to be quiet.
Just look over everything and upload a vid. if possible.
