Default Funny Idle Problem

I own a '90 civic hatch standard(D15B1) :,(...lol
Anyways, I start it, it idles fine, around 2,000, it warms up and it wants to idle at 3,000 rpm. I heard it could be low on anti-freeze, but it's not, I don't know what the problem is.
Please help me!!!

I've searched and nothing...

2000 is too high even for cold start-up.
a good idle at cold is around 1500. warm, 750.
clean your IAVC, adjust your idle screw.
I did this, made my car run a lot smoother.

How does adjusting your idle screw change cold idle without effecting warm idle?
