H23a1 Timing Questions
Ok im getting ready to change the timing belt on a 92 honda prelude si. Im just looking for some good diagrams or a website that can help me out with this. The car has jumped time and just runs awful.
I just did my 92 prelude. make sure you get all the parts first. i had to wait 2 days.
2nd mistake instead of getting the water pump i got the oil pump out. however i check it out and clean it alittle bit so make sure you get the right one. 3rd. it was really hard to get the harmo balancer screw out. there a hole right on top of the engine description to lock the flywheel. it took me a long time to find that out. 4th when you take the adjuster out make sure you remember how to put it back it took me about 10 minutes thinking. the big one goes first and the the small one. other then that is kind of easy. and of course put the top and bottom on time. im a noob first time doing a prelude. that was my personal experience. i bet these guys knows a lot more. have fun dude.

Don't do it without reading the Helms first and making sure you have all the parts and tools you need. TQ specs, coolant bleeding, setting cam timing, crankshaft pulley tool, etc etc...
