JDM Front Integra owners.. What front tow hook are you using?
Since we don't have the U.S. front beam that most tow hook sets bolt to(benen, etc.). What are some alternatives? i have looked into safequip straps and that is the direction i was heading. just wanted to post up here and see any alternatives. pix and links are a plus. thanks
The US front beam can be made to work with the JDM bumper, you just have to modify the plastic honeycomb things on the ends (grind them down).
not a jdm front ender, but i used the circuit hero one that bolts to the factory front tow hook spots. got me out of the gravel, puled back to the paddoc and pulled out of the track no problem.
There are ways of adapting it. I haven't done it myself, but there used to be pics floating around in the ITR forum. I'm pretty sure both the headlights and grill mount to something other than the bumper beam.
Or, like Spencer suggested, get a towhook that mounts to the frame, rather than the bumper.
