Hey dudes I just got an oil change an now every time I start my car my maintenance required light blinks for a while. Anyone know what that could be?

well searching helps because i for one asked this same question months ago.

 

Press/hold the trip odometer for a few seconds while turning the ignition on. Its a lot easier to just answer the question sometimes.

You can also go to Pep boys...or places like auto-zone and they can do a check engine light diagnostics test...usually free I believe.

 

Maintenance required light is not, or like the check engine light. It's simply a light that comes on after I believe every 5k miles from being reset to let you know to get an oil change. No need for a diagnostic check.

 

There he is yet again...always out to correct me, to find my flaws, but never back me up in anything lol...ha

Wat!!?!? Someone asks the same question that has been answered a million times before like everyweek or every other week. I think Honda-Tech mods should monitor noobs for the first month or so... to avoid this... I also think a test should be given making sure they read the god damn rules of the forum! Whoever fails can't try again for another week!
