Went to the track today and my best time has a 13.9@110. I relize that im runnin on 205/40/16 tires so that could had something to do with it. But i was hoping for at least a 12. but i was spining straight through 2nd and the top end of 3rd.

Also is it noraml for me to cross the line in 4th gear at close to 7Krpm?? its a b16 tranny

i have a fully built b18C1 with a b16 head and a t3.t67turbo on 15psi.

Ill try againwhen i can find slicks.

 

I'll start off with the 60fts suck, but for a built motor 110 trap kinda sounds low.

 

what are you revvin the motor to? And your time isn't gonna improve to much with street tires

 

..If you have a "Fully built" GSR motor, then turn up the boost and put some slicks on. Then you will find better then a 12sec. pass.

 

i was shifting at 7.5K redline is 8.5K. yeah its sleeved with rods pistons and arp head studs. I think im goin to try and find some slicks. lol
but right when i hit 6K (when my turbo is fully spooled) i would loose traction and just rev out in 2nd and 3rd.

I did a 12.9 @ 129 2.3 60' on my second pass with about 16-17psi on 185/65/14's also on a T67, IMO your missing ALOT of trap speed for a 67mm at 15psi. B16 gearing had me at almost 9k going through the traps.

For comparison purposes, I had 5mph on you in the 1/8 and 19mph on you in the quarter....... where is your 4th gear?

 

that turbo isnt really happy at that boost level. and you are gonna have to rev it out higher to keep it in boost between gears. thats where your mph is probably goin.

 

yeah i was thinking i need the redline at around 10K, because it seems right is im in full boost i run out of rpm's. I was crossing the finish line around 8K.R in 4th.
