Default SH vs base spring perch

I just spoke with a friend of mine and he was saying that there is an issue with running his KYBs and tein springs on his SH because the spring perch is different its lower or something and he needs and adjustable spring perch, like a coilover. I am not sure what he was saying exactly, I just wanted someone to clear this up if anyone knows ?

there is a guy that just swaped a base suspension into a SH because of that same problem i believe cuse he couldnt lower it to a certain height in the front, to solve that problem he said you need the 5 way adjustable ones so you can go lower. thats how i understood it but i may be wrong...

Last November I installed a set of KYB AGX's mated with Tein H-Techs, totally compatible.

read this if you can, pictures included. with the base front end suspension you can run traction bars and front sway bars.

"We figured it out if it helps any... The shock on the SH has a lower perch for the spring to sit on so in conclusion when you put a base shock on a SH the perch is higher and makes the front sit higher."

when people can't get out of their own way.

You only have a problem when you run aftermarket shocks with stock SH springs, or aftermarket springs with stock SH shocks. The lower spring perch on the stock SH shocks is to accommodate the longer stock spring.

Aftermarket springs and shocks= OK

kornerk, pm me if you want.
