I'm about to take my integra out of storage, it has a b18c Type R engine in it. The oil i normally use it Mobil 1, but i read somewhere that its no longer truly synthetic.

So can anyone recommend which brand have true full synthetic oil.

Use Shell Rotella Synthetic 5W-40. If it kills the cat, then ditch it.

oils are defined in groups. you can google a good deal of the oil forums and message boards. there is a ton of research on this. amsoil and redline {both group 5} are probably the best easily available oils in 5-30 and 10-30 which our engines use. as for which brand belongs in which group and how they hold up. use google, tons of research exists.

 

Mobil 1 is a full synthetic oil. There are lots of brands of full synthetic oil, and any major brand of synthetic will provide the advantages of synthetic - the greater resistance to breakdown at high temperatures, and the better flow characteristics when cold.

 

This has been covered time and time again. Royal Purple is my choice.
