What do I need to weld titanium?

What do I need to weld titanium?

I got a titanium muffler that has some holes in it I could probably weld up.

My friend has a mig welder I could use.

Do I need any diffrent kind of wire or gas to do this?

You wont be able to weld that with a mig. From my understanding its not a very straight forward thing with a TIG

You need a LOT of argon, and someone with a TIG and titanium filler rod

bring it somewhere to get welded by a profesional.

this is NOT something you can just weld up with a mig.
