Default eg h23 vtec swap possible or more trouble than its worth???

hi i looked all around but couldnt find any real decent info for a swap i was considering. i already have a h22 lsd tranny n wanted to swap a h22 into my civic eg but then i found a h23 vtec, it has around the same hp but a bit more torque. i know my tranny will bolt up but the question is why dont i ever really see it done much? will i run into diff/more problems swaping this engine than a reg h22? will the h23 fit in/ bolt up just as a h22 or would there be more modifications i will have to make? thanks for helping out in advance.

the H23A ecu wont work well, since the h23a came from accord wagon with diffrent kind of auto tranny, intake plugs are diffrent, TB too is diffrent, u can use the engine and plug the h22a intake and dizzy, and chip your ecu to get the engine to run right
