Default h22a crank question

I have a jdm obd1 h22a crankshaft and I believe the diameter is 50mm, a guy wants to buy it to put in his 98 prelude h22a4 which I read is either 50mm or 55mm. he says his motor was made in 12/97. Would that mean he has the 50mm crank?

Your crank will not work in his car.

Tell him he might be better off finding a 92-97 block and getting yours. I'll be in his situation next year, need a 55mm crank, and it's pretty much impossible to find them used.

I just told him that and he still insist it will work. I don't think the guy has a clue about how bad it would be to put my crank in his block, I don't think it would even start up? I have a h22a block I told him he could have but I don't think it will work with the sh preludes.
